LashControl®: Award-Winning Innovative and Ultra-Precise Mascara System
Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 10:03AM LashControl® is an award-winning innovative and ultra-precise mascara system.
LashControl® gives you the unique ability to control the amount of mascara formula on the brush before it leaves the tube. You squeeze the color-coded center portion of the tube while removing the brush applicator. There are several variations in formula and brush-style, distinguished by the packaging-- PINK, PURPLE, BLUE, etc. The color corresponds to features and benefits of the formula and brush combination. The actual color of the formula is black with more shades on the horizon.

InStyle magazine: “It prevents too much makeup from getting on the brush, so there’s no thickness. . . . It goes on smoothly and keeps lashes really separate”, says N.Y.C. makeup artist Kristofer Buckle on the "beauty buzz page". Sephora Beauty Editor, Laura Kenney says, “… beauty editor friends of mine told me about it and I bought it and I loved it.” LashControl® has also appeared in Madame Figaro–Japan, Women’s Wear Daily and numerous blog sites. Recognized internationally by industry specialists, LashControl® was one of 5 finalists selected from more than 300 submissions in the 2007 HBA/Expo International Package Design Awards. Winner: 2009 Cosmetic Innovator of the Year from ICMAD.

PERFECT FOR MAKE-UP ARTISTS:
Camera work can be closer than ever. Television make-up artist and instructor, Marianne Skiba, says, “Everything is heading toward High Definition and mascara is a big issue for us”. Until now, anyone using mascara must either wipe the brush with a tissue - wasteful— or scrape the brush along the edge of the container - messy, in order to remove clumps or the tail-end glob of mascara at the tip of the brush. But, using tissues or scraping the brush introduces foreign particles which travel back in the tube on the brush. These particles cause clumping and may carry bacteria which will contaminate the mascara formula. LashControl® is the solution to customize each application!
